I’m not sure I have anything particularly original to say. But working in emergency medicine has taught me that written thought is different from spoken thought — slower, more honest, harder to disguise.

I write to understand what I actually think. About medicine, about how systems work, about what it means to be in an ambulance at three in the morning with someone who isn’t breathing.

This space is an attempt to put things in order. Not an attempt to teach anyone anything.
